Who are Muslims?

Followers of the religion Islam are called Muslims.

Muslims live their lives in a manner that pleases God. Such way of life was told by God in His last Message, the Holy Qur-an. That path was shown to mankind by Muhammad (Peace be upon him), the last Messenger (Rasul) of God.

Muslims believe in the Oneness of God; all of His Messengers like Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (Peace be upon them); all the Divine Books like the Psalms, the Torah, the Bible and the Qur-an; in the Angels of God like Gabriel and Michael etc; the Final Day of Judgment and the eternal Life after Death and Destiny.

With a population of over 1.25 billion, every fourth person in the world is a Muslim; proclaiming the same basic Truth that God had earlier told to mankind through Adam, Noah, Abraham, Lot, Job, David, Solomon, Ishmael, Isaac, Moses and Jesus (Peace be upon them). God sent the same Message to mankind through His last Messenger Muhammad (Peace be upon him) after His previous Messages were altered.

The largest concentration of Muslims is in Indonesia, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, China, Russia, Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. The U.S.A. has 7-9 million Muslims. The European countries have significant Muslim populations. Only 18% of Muslims are Arabs. There are more than 50 countries in the world with a majority of Muslim population.
