Why another Rasul (Messenger) in Arabia

Long ago, Ibrahim A (Abraham) and Isma'il A (Ishmael) had constructed the Ka'bah in the city of Makkah. Ibrahim A (Abraham) and Isma'il A (Ishmael) were both Rusul (Messengers) of Allah (God). They did not arbitrarily chose the barren valley of Makkah for the construction of the Ka'bah. Allah (God) had showed them the place for it.

iz bawwana li Ibrahima makanal bayti a(n)l la tushrikbi shay”an wa tahhir baytiya litta”ifina wal qa”imina wa(l)r rukka'is sujud.

And (remember), we showed Ibrahim (Abraham) the site of the (Sacred) House (The Ka'bah at Makkah) (saying): “Associate not anything with Me, and sanctify My House for those who walk around it, and those who standup and bow down and make prostrations (those who pray).”
Surah (Chapter) al-Hajj (The Pilgrimage) Qur-an 22:26

Makkah has been identified Bakkah as the original site for the Ka'bah, in the Holy Qur-an.

Inna awwala baytin wudi'a linnasi lalladhi bi bakkata mubarakan wa huda(n)l lil ‘alamin.

Verily, the first House (of worship) appointed for mankind was that at Bakkah, full of blessing, and a guidance to mankind.
Surah (Chapter) Al ‘Imran (Family of ‘Imran) Qur-an 3:96

In this Ayah (Verse) Allah (God) has used the word Bakkah for Makkah.

The same word Bakkah, has been used in the Bible (The Old Testament) also, where the old house of worship was located.

“Blessed are those who dwell in your house;

they are ever praising you.  Selah

Blessed are those whose strength is in you,

Who have set their hearts on pilgrimage.

As they pass through valley of Baca,

They make it a place of springs

Psalm 84:4-6

Ibrahim A (Abraham) and his son Isma'il A (Ishmael) had made a prayer to Allah (God) when they were constructing the Ka'bah. This prayer was for sending another Rasul (Messenger) to the city of Makkah.

Rabbana wab'ath fihim Rasula(n)m minhum yatlu ‘alayhim “ayatika wa yu'allimuhumul kitaba walhikmata wa yuzakkihim “innaka “anta' ‘azizul hakim.

“Our Lord! Send amongst them a Messenger of their own, who shall recite to them Your Verses and instruct them in the Book (Qur-an) and wisdom, and purify them. Verily you are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.”
Surah (Chapter) al-Baqarah (The Cow) Qur-an 2:12

Allah (God) loved both Ibrahim A (Abraham) and his son Isma'il A (Ishmael). Allah (God) answered the prayers of Ibrahim A (Abraham) and Isma'il A (Ishmael) by choosing the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad S from the city of Makkah as His very last Rasul (Messenger).
